The Magura wine cellar is a new "Global Marketing"’s client. It was founded in 1967 in the village of Rabisha. It is situated in one of the most mysterious and beautiful places in Bulgaria, between the Danube and the red sand cliffs of the town of Belogradchik and the natural phenomenon Magurata cave. Its foundation was necessitated by the demand of the domestic and international market for high quality wines and champagne. The Bats Gallery, which has been part of the Magura cave for decades, has been transformed into a place for aging selected wines.

 

Due to its soil and climatic conditions, the region around the Rabishka mound is similar to that of the Champagne region of France, so here you can find the best natural sparkling wine produced using a classical technology. The wine is stored and slowly matures in the deep underground of the cave. The constant temperature of 12 ° C, the darkness and the appropriate humidity of the air in the bosom of the "Bats Gallery" create conditions for natural sponge. Traditional bottling technology and three-year aging transform grape juice into  sophisticated sparkling wine with a unique taste.

 

Besides its natural sparkling wine "Magura", the winery specializes in the production of high quality red and white wines and brandy. The region of Rabisha has brought together the concept of terroir favorable to the development of red and white wine varieties. In 2008, the winery started to create its own vineyards in the village of Rayanovtsi and Rabisha of the Pinot Gray, Vrachanski Misket, Chardonnay, Riesling and Gamza sorts. For the production, besides its own vineyards, the winery purchases grapes from controlled vineyards in the region of Harmanli.
